Mabef Pochade Box

This pochade box is a clever empty wooden box! Not only a paint box, it also doubles up as an easel for small canvases, and can be used in two different directions thanks to its two supports. What's more, thanks to its screw thread, this box can be attached to a Mabef wooden tripod. In this way, the box can be held or used at an easel. Made from evaporated and oiled beechwood, this empty wooden box offers the Artist storage space thanks to its three compartments designed to hold paint, brushes or auxiliaries. The compartments are closed by a sliding pallet with holes for holding brushes. The central part of this paint box holds a painting support on each side, including a 30 cm x 24 cm canvas. When closed, the pochade box measures 12.5 cm high, 40.5 cm wide and 31 cm deep, and weighs 3.2 kg.
