Some people like to see the painter's work and the brush strokes, while others will plan a field painted in the colors of the artwork.

A custom-made American case

Made in our factory in Provence, this crate can be adapted to all your works, whether the painting on canvas corresponds to a photo or French format. It is indeed very simple to order a frame to your dimensions. In the "measure" tab, simply enter the dimensions of your canvas frame. The carpenters will then leave a 5mm gap to allow for the thickness of the canvas and the use of keys to tighten the frame. If you want a custom American box for canvas, the process is the same! However, you just have to indicate the nature of your support in the "remark" tab, at the last step of the ordering process.

You will then receive, whatever your support, a custom-made American box entirely personalized to correspond to your measurements.

The American frame in application

The American box in "L" provides a margin between the stretcher frame and the edge of the rod. This margin is 2 cm.

To maintain the stretcher against theAmerican frame, two solutions are possible. The use of turnbuckles, on the one hand, will allow you to remove the frame in the future. These turnbuckles will be screwed into the wooden frame. Please note that the screwdrivers must be ordered separately.

On the other hand, it is also possible to screw the canvas frame into the American box. This means that the wood of the frame must be cut through.
