White Gesso of paint Talens 5L

Talens offers here its white gesso paint. Made from acrylic products, this gesso will be used as an undercoat for acrylic or oil paintings. In case of oil painting, it will protect the support from the attacks of the solvents of the paint. The painting gesso can be applied on all the supports desired by the Artist. It will also optimize the adhesion of the paint on the most original surfaces: wood, metal, cardboard, stone, plaster... Moreover, the gesso will prevent the support from drinking the paint. But that's not all: it is also intended to make the support as smooth as possible. It is advisable to apply at least two coats of gesso. If the Artist wishes to obtain a very smooth support, it will be necessary to sand it between each application. White gesso is applied with a brush, roller or sponge.
